Ooooh, I've so much to tell you about but the site is going through 24 - 48 hours of unexpected maintenance! It's a good thing, though, so we can bring more content AND ONLINE PURCHASING OPTIONS! (I'll be babbling away on Twitter, though!) Stay tuned ....
The Nana Blog (06/2011)
Photo via www.megshops.com Mark your calendar for Sunday, June 26: we're hosting a trunk show with designer Meghan Kinney and her label meg. Meg has worked in fashion design since the early 90s, and now has her own shop (in three locations!). Her designs are clean, feminine, and sometimes nostalgic--the dress shown above was made from vintage fabric found in New York.
We're looking forward to seeing Meg's designs up close. Join us for a fun show! One lucky shopper will win a gift basket packed with treats from meg and Nana!
There's so much fun stuff going on! Neighborhood yard sales & farmer's markets, celebrating Dads on Sunday (great gift ideas below!), scoring great vintage at our 2nd VINTAGE POP-UP SHOP (thanks Quarterlife!). Whatever you choose, I hope it's packed with fun.
How about a vintage clock? This Baby Ben looks great on a shelf or as a part of a collection. Guaranteed correct TWO times a day. I love this useful, silver money clip, too, by local artist Sarah Cecilia.
Is Dad a Scrabble guy? Charm City Company makes these cool wine glass charms from old Scrabble pieces. Mix and match to make different words!
Who says we only have stuff for chicks?
Happy Father's Day, gentlemen!
It's easy to see why so many Nana shoppers enjoy Katharine's handmade products. They are wonderful designs & perfect for gifts. I use her coin purse as my perfect Summer wallet! I was so excited to see her mentioned in one of my favorite blogs Poppytalk. Apparently, us admirers are in good company!
