12/03/11: Just announced: Nana’s first ever Handmade Holly Mart on Saturday, December 3rd from 11a - 7p!

Nana’s first ever Handmade Holly Mart on Saturday, December 3rd features DC-area designers, artists, musicians, and more. Shop local this holiday season!
Want to buy unique gifts this holiday while supporting local businesses and artists? Well, look no further. Handmade Holly Mart is a mini bazaar to be held at local women’s clothing store, Nana. The holiday mart will feature about 10 local crafters, many who sold their wares at the Mount Pleasant Temporium. Nana hosted the space for the Temporium and since it was such a success, Nana wanted to create an opportunity for local artists to sell their goods in a retail setting for the holidays. One difference from the Temporium, will be that the artists will be present at the market so customers will get to interact with them. There will be everything from journals made of Legos to re-purposed vintage jewelry to plushed animals-- something for everyone on your list this holiday.
The one day event, will feature much more than local artists and their goods. There will a live performance by local musicans, the Felt Tips, that will be fun for the whole family. We also plan to have a local refreshements on the premise so that people can snack while they shop. This will be an event you will want to bring your friends to so that everyone can join in on the festivities.
Handmade Holly Mart is taking place at Nana located in DC’s Mount Pleasant neighborhood at 3068 Mount Pleasant St. NW. The event will take place from 11a-7p on Saturday, December 3rd, 2011.
