05/17: Modern Vintage: Shop & Social- 5-7:30p

Let’s do it again!

We had so much fun with Quarterlife at their first Modern Vintage: Shop & Social, so….why not?

Join us on Thursday, May 17 from 5 to 7:30 p.m.
to preview new vintage items before they hit the racks
and to have a snack (the punch bowl will be present!)
and to meet other vintage-lovers like yourself!

Wear your favorite vintage pieces, or come as you are from work or class. All are welcome!

05/03: Nana 9th Anniversary Happy Hour: 5-7p

We've been so busy in the shop we completely missed our 9th anniversary last month! Oopsy! Take a moment with us this Thursday and help us celebrate-because it's better late than never! It's because of our customers like you that we are still going strong. We want to personally thank each and one of you for your continued support through the years.

It will be a night of fun! We will have sales, special prizes, and champagne for toasting. We even get a new shipment of the Nana line the same day! The Effortless Top in ivory, the All Occassion Dress in black and the Skipper Skirt in green stripe will be fresh on the racks. Come try on the newest arrivals first!

We hope to see you Thursday (May 3rd) from 5-7p as kick of year number 10 of Nana. Come help us celebrate!

04/15: meg Trunk show

Mark your calendar for April 15th! Meg arrives with her gorgeous Spring 2012 collection for a Special Trunk Show

Sunday, April 15th
1 - 5 pm.

It's such a treat to see her exclusive designs & purchase items here in DC. Join Maria of Meg, Gina & Daisy of Nana, Meg (herself!) and me for a style-packed, fun-filled day! Jackie has already picked out her favorite Spring dresses from Meg. Read all about them.

03/15: FREE GIFT w/ purchase at our Sip + Shop THIS Thurs 5-7p

The warmer weather has got us excited to revive our Thursday Sip and Shops. Our first one of the season will be THIS Thursday, March 15th from 5-7p. Join us for some snacks and cooling refreshments after work. You'll have an opportunity to see all our new spring goodies (lots of light tops and dresses!) and meet our newest Nana muse, Tobey.  You'll also recieve a FREE gift with any purchase!

O and keep your fingers crossed...we just might have new pieces from our first delivery of the Nana clothing line!

09/01: Sip + Shop THIS THURSDAY from 5-7p at Nana.

We are thrilled to unveil a lovely new website where you'll be able to shop our collection online, join in the fun by checking our events page, and see our recent inspirations. Join us the Thursday, September 1st from 5-7 pm as we celebrate it's completion. There will be some refreshments &  one lucky shopper will win a $50 gift certificate to Nana!

Daisy is back after a Summer stint in New York. She is helping us celebrate the site at Thursday's SIP + SHOP by bringing a selection of her most recent works just for you. It's a Celebration/Trunk Show now!

05/12: Kelly Lane Trunk Show May 12th-13th

We are so excited to host a special trunk show over the weekend of May 12th, featuring Kelly Lane’s beautiful designs. Drawing from her formal training as a graphic designer, Kelly creates bold compositions of color, print, and line to form flattering silhouettes that are as wearable as they are stylish. Creatively conceived by Kelly and local artisans, each collection is carefully crafted from eco-friendly fabrics and ethically produced by a family-run business in New York's garment district. The result is limited run, high-quality clothing with a conscience. Join us, it will be fun!

04/22: Kim Schalk Trunk Show

We will be welcoming one of our favorite local designers, Kim Schalk to the shop on Sunday April 22nd for a special trunk show. She will be sharing her Spring line and we can't wait to see what she has in store. We love this drappy top and versatile skirt. It creates the ultimate grecian goddess look. Kim will be here with her collection from 1-5p on the 22nd. See you there!

04/19: Wine tasting & shopping night for Team Devon! 10% of all sales benefit Avon Walk for Breast Cancer

On April 19th from 5-7p Nana is hosting another very special Sip + Shop in the store to raise money for Team Devon. We had such a blast at our one in March we decided to do it again! Join us for a night of wine tasting with our favorite wine experts at First Vine. Tom & Cy are bringing with them lovely wines to taste. Did you know they will even deliver wines to your DC doors? First Vine is generously donating 10% of wine sales for the evening to the TEAM DEVON cause.

I adore Devon Bartlett -- she is a dear friend and I'm honored to be a part of her team for this year's Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. Devon recently found out that her breast cancer returned - after celebrating five years out this past summer. She is our neighbor, my kid's beloved Gardening & Nutrition teacher, she & her husband co-coached my daughter's soccer team, loyal Nana muse & shopper, and a rocking friend. Her son & my daughter are great friends & schoolmates. Every part of our life that Devon touches is better for it. It is so important to me to walk as a part of her team.

Nana is sponsoring TEAM DEVON in this walk & we look forward to very special Sip + Shop events. Nana will donate 10% of ALL sales on April 19th to TEAM DEVON.

There will be nibbles and refreshments to enjoy while shopping plus some fun Nana giveaways! We have loads of new Spring items in, including this Smokey Quartz Necklace, which 100% of proceeds will go to this cause.

03/17: Luck of the Draw Sale!

In honor of St. Patrick's Day we are having a special Luck of the Draw Sale THIS Saturday, March 17th. Every customer who comes in the shop will be able to draw a ticket with special savings. It could be a percentage off your purchase, a $5 or $10 gift card, a free gift with purchase or some other great savings. You never know what you will draw. Will it be your lucky day?
